About Pt. Dev Prabhakar Shastri College
Affiliated with Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Pt. Dev Prabhakar Shastri College operates under the regulatory oversight of the Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department, providing a structured academic outlet for students in the Chhatarpur district. Before its inception, local youth often migrated to regional cities like Gwalior or Sagar for undergraduate studies, which highlighted the need for this localized campus to fill a major educational gap. Set against the distinct, rocky landscape of the Bundelkhand region, the college focuses on basic undergraduate streams to help rural learners secure degrees close to home.
