PESSAT

PESSAT stands for PES Scholastic Aptitude Test. It was the entrance test used by PES University for admission to a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Depending on the course they have chosen, students applying for different courses may be required to take the test as part of the university’s admission process.

An important change for engineering aspirants is that PES University has stopped using PESSAT for B.Tech admission. Students applying for B.Tech admission now have to apply through the university accepted channels mainly JEE Main and KCET. The university also follows its own registration and counselling process for eligible candidates.

PESSAT should therefore not be confused with the current B.Tech entrance route at PES University. The university continues to conduct entrance-based admission processes for several other programmes, while B.Tech admissions are handled separately. Students planning to apply should check the admission requirements for their particular course before filling out the application form.
