About Vikas Polytechnic of Agriculture

This polytechnic is designed specifically for young people from the farming tracts of coastal Andhra who want to skip the long road of a four-year degree and get straight into practical, diploma-level agricultural work.

Located in the fertile Krishna district, the campus sits right in the middle of one of India's most productive agricultural belts. Students spend less time in classrooms and more time out in the experimental plots, learning how to manage local soils and pest cycles under the humid coastal sun.
