- Appear for CLAT: Admission is based exclusively on the rank secured in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). There is no other mode of admission.
- CLAT Counselling: After the CLAT results are declared, the CLAT Consortium conducts a centralized online counseling process.
- Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Candidates must fill their NLU preferences in the counseling form. A seat at NUJS is allotted based on the CLAT All India Rank and category-wise reservations. Cutoffs for NUJS are extremely high (typically within the top 250 ranks for General category).
