About Shyam Balaji College

Affiliated with Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University for its core undergraduate tracks, the college operates with direct approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for its specialized training degrees. This educational initiative took root in Mahasamund back in 2013, stepping in to address the distinct lack of specialized teacher training facilities in the immediate district. It functions primarily as a pragmatic launchpad for regional youth targeting state education department jobs and local government positions.

How to Apply

Admission is governed entirely by the state-level centralized counseling process managed by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Chhattisgarh for the teaching programs, and the university's online registration system for commerce tracks. You must register on the state portal, select this institution as your preferred option during the choice-filling window, and track the merit allotment lists. Once the state portal assigns you a seat at Shyam Balaji College, you must bring your original academic certificates and domicile proofs to the Mahasamund campus to complete physical verification and secure your spot.
