About Shri V S Raval Education College Prantij

Most B.Ed. colleges talk endlessly about theory, but this institution focuses heavily on the practical side of rural and semi-urban Gujarati schooling. Because of its location in Prantij, the college coordinates directly with the Sabarkantha district school board to place teacher-trainees in local classrooms early in their course. You will spend less time reading about pedagogy and more time actually managing thirty-five middle schoolers who do not want to sit still. It is a straightforward, unpretentious teacher training ground designed to get you past the Gujarat TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) and into a classroom.

How to Apply

Admissions here depend heavily on your undergraduate marks. Unlike major universities with complex multi-stage counseling, this college simplifies enrollment by directly reviewing your qualifying degree percentages to fill its seat quota.

Direct registration at the Prantij campus with your original degree mark sheets, leaving no room for mismatched online documents.
Seat allocation occurs strictly based on the merit of your graduation percentages, in line with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University guidelines.
Prioritize securing your physical documents early, as original certificates and migration papers are required on the spot to secure a seat.

Campus Facilities

Facility	Description
Transport	A designated bus route links the campus directly to the Prantij railway station and nearby Sabarkantha bus stands, saving you from relying on erratic local auto-rickshaws.
Cafeteria / Canteen	A simple dining space serving regional Gujarati lunches and tea, focusing on clean vegetarian meals prepared daily for commuting students.
Sports / Playground	An open playing area used for organizing regional track events and standard outdoor games like Kabaddi and Kho-Kho.
Placement Cell / Career Guidance	The team specifically guides students through the Gujarat TET and TAT registration portals, alongside mock teaching demo days to prepare for local school interviews.
Auditorium / Seminar Hall	A multi-use assembly hall equipped with basic audio-visual systems where students present final pedagogy micro-teaching projects.

Who this suits: This is ideal for local Sabarkantha candidates who want a budget-friendly path to a teaching career without the cost of relocating to Ahmedabad. Do not apply if you are looking for an English-medium heavy curriculum, as the teaching and local school practice here are primarily delivered in Gujarati.
