About Raj Narain College

Raj Narain College serves undergraduate aspirants in the Vaishali district who need low-cost, mainstream degrees in humanities and natural sciences close to home. As a constituent unit of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, this institution operates out of Hajipur, providing a structured academic anchor in a region where higher education access remains limited. It handles a massive student enrollment across basic sciences, social sciences, and literature, acting as a regional hub rather than an elite, niche academy.

Application Steps

Candidates register online through the Bihar State Universities Management Information System (UMIS) portal, indicating Raj Narain College as their preferred choice.
The college office releases a cut-off list based on secondary school results, requiring successful applicants to report to the Hajipur campus with their printed allotment sheet.
For vocational programs like BCA, candidates attend a brief face-to-face interaction at the department office to verify basic logical and analytical aptitude.
Students present their original school-leaving certificates, migration records, and character certificates for final verification before depositing admission fees.

Facilities Overview

Facility	Description
Cafeteria / Canteen	A simple campus kitchen serving basic regional snacks like litti-chokha, tea, and quick meals to commuting students from rural Vaishali.
Computer Center / Wi-Fi Campus	A dedicated computer lab housing desktop systems used primarily for the practical curriculum of BCA students.
Library	Houses textbook collections aligned with the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University curriculum, along with local Hindi and English newspapers.
Medical / Health Center	A basic first-aid room staffed periodically by visiting doctors to handle minor medical emergencies during class hours.

In short: Prospective applicants should be prepared for the traditional, slow-paced administrative bureaucracy typical of state university affiliates in Bihar. If you are seeking immediate industry placements or active corporate networking drives on campus, this traditional academic environment will not meet those expectations.
