About Raghu College of Pharmacy

If you drive up the highway from Vizag towards Vizianagaram, the traffic thins out just around Dakamarri, where Raghu College of Pharmacy sits against a backdrop of low-lying Eastern Ghats hills. The campus capitalizes on its position between two major coastal hubs, feeding pharmacy graduates directly into the industrial drug-formulation units of the region. Rather than the coastal humidity of the beach road, students here study in a drier, breezier inland corridor where the focus remains heavily on practical, hands-on lab work, supported by local training partnerships in the nearby Gambheeram industrial block.

How to Apply

Admission here divides cleanly between the state-conducted entrance test pool and the direct management seats. For the direct entry route, the college evaluates candidates on their raw science marks from the intermediate board exams. Eligible students bypass the centralized counseling web options but must register their credentials directly with the college administration to secure a spot under the B-category quota.

Submit your physical intermediate mark sheet and transfer certificate directly to the administrative office in Dakamarri for eligibility verification.
Provide proof of rank in AP EAPCET if applying through the state convenor quota, or class 12 board marks for management-seat consideration.

Campus Facilities

Facility	Description
Library	The central library houses dedicated sections for Indian and international pharmacopoeias, alongside a hard-copy archive of national pharmaceutical journals that students pull from for their final-year formulation projects.
Hostels	Separate housing facilities for boys and girls feature basic, functional shared rooms with strict evening study hours supervised by resident wardens.
Sports / Playground	A spacious outdoor field shared across the wider Raghu educational campus allows for multi-college cricket and volleyball matches during the annual sports meet.
Gym / Fitness Center	The on-campus physical conditioning space is equipped with free weights and resistance machines, serving students who live on campus after laboratory hours close.

Who this suits: This works best for self-driven students from the Vizag-Vizianagaram belt who want a quiet, distraction-free environment to study formulation science, rather than those seeking an active downtown city life. It is less suited for those who expect walk-to-campus urban entertainment or immediate access to coastal Vizag's cafe culture.
