About R. T. C. B.Ed. College

This college is for local Jharkhand graduates who want a structured, no-nonsense path into school teaching without leaving the Ranchi district.

If you are looking for a flashy university campus with massive cultural festivals, you will be disappointed here. The focus at this Ormanjhi-based training center is strictly academic preparation for state-board and CBSE secondary school educators. It operates under the G.P.S. Trust, maintaining a highly disciplined environment that mirrors the daily schedule of the schools you will eventually teach in.

How to Apply

Admission depends primarily on your rank in the state-level entrance exam organized by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board. The college establishes a merit list following the official counseling rounds, selecting applicants who meet their annual cut-off marks.

Once you see your name on the allotment sheet, you must carry your original matriculation, intermediate, and degree marksheets to the Ormanjhi campus for direct verification. Final enrollment is locked only after the verification team clears your documents and the first-year academic fees are processed.

Facilities Overview

Facility	Description
Library	Houses NCTE-recommended pedagogy textbooks, state board school curricula, and teaching practice logs rather than general fiction or unrelated literature.
Cafeteria / Canteen	A simple, functional lunchroom offering hot regional Jharkhandi meals and tea, catering to day scholars commuting from Ranchi city.
Hostels	Separate blocks providing basic, secure accommodation for female trainees coming from distant parts of Jharkhand.
Auditorium / Seminar Hall	A dedicated presentation space used heavily for peer micro-teaching drills and guest lectures by experienced local school principals.
Medical / Health Center	Equipped with basic emergency first-aid supplies and maintaining a direct tie-up with nearby Ormanjhi community clinics for immediate care.

In short: If you are seeking a diverse, multi-disciplinary college experience with active student politics, this highly focused, rural training setup will not fit you. Make sure to map out your daily commute to Ormanjhi, as public transport options can get scarce during afternoon hours.
