About R H Patel English Medium B Ed College

This college is built specifically for graduates aiming to secure teaching positions in the expanding network of private and semi-government English-medium schools across Gujarat. As a constituent unit of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, the institution addresses the regional shortage of bilingual educators by focusing strictly on secondary school pedagogy and classroom communication skills. Students spend a significant portion of their terms engaged in supervised practice teaching within local Gandhinagar schools.

How to Apply

Admission is governed by the merit list and cutoff criteria released periodically by the central admission committee of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya. Applicants must register on the university’s central portal, uploading their undergraduate transcripts along with certificates proving their medium of instruction was English.

Once the university publishes the round-wise cutoff lists, selected candidates must visit the Gandhinagar campus directly to present original mark sheets for physical verification. The admission is secured only after the verification is successful and the first-semester tuition fees are cleared at the campus bank counter.

Campus Facilities

Facility	Description
Library	Stocked with specialized English-language teacher manuals, school education reference books, and physical copies of regional pedagogy journals, with dedicated desks for drafting lesson plans.
Sports / Playground	An open-air turf area shared with sister departments, used regularly for physical education training modules and scheduled athletic events.
Hostels	Separate residential halls for male and female students managed by the Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal trust, featuring double-sharing rooms and structured evening timings.
Transport	A network of institutional buses connecting the Gandhinagar campus to key residential sectors and neighboring transport hubs in Ahmedabad.
Medical / Health Center	A first-aid dispensary located on the shared campus grounds, staffed by a visiting medical officer to address routine student health checks and minor emergencies.

In short: This program is not designed for candidates seeking Gujarati-medium teaching pathways, as the training, examinations, and internships are conducted entirely in English. You should also verify the strict attendance requirements, which leave no room for pursuing concurrent corporate jobs or part-time coaching.
