About Nirmala College of Pharmacy

The labs at Nirmala College of Pharmacy run on schedules synchronized with the academic calendar of Acharya Nagarjuna University, to which the college is affiliated. Located along the Chennai-Kolkata highway corridor near Mangalagiri, the campus serves as a training ground primarily for student pharmacists from the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. The focus here is strictly on pharmaceutical science, with the curriculum regulated heavily by the Pharmacy Council of India.

Admissions Overview

Admission to the undergraduate pharmacy programs relies on the state-level AP EAPCET counseling ranks, while postgraduate slots are allocated through AP PGECET and GPAT scores. The college compiles its admissions lists based on these state counseling cutoffs, releasing category-wise merit registers once the state authority concludes each round of seat allotment.

To secure the allocated spot, candidates must submit their original intermediate transfer certificates and rank cards directly to the college administrative office for verification. The enrollment is finalized only after the state admission convener approves the documents and the first-year tuition fee is deposited in accordance with the Fee Regulatory Committee guidelines.

Life on Campus

Facility	Description
Auditorium / Seminar Hall	Equipped with fixed acoustic paneling and an integrated projection system, this space hosts the college’s annual national pharmacy week seminars and guest lectures by industrial chemists.
Hostels	Managed by the Catechist Sisters of St. Ann, the on-campus boarding facility provides secure living quarters specifically for female pharmacy students, maintaining strict study hours.
Transport	A dedicated fleet of college-operated buses covers major routes across Guntur, Vijayawada, and Mangalagiri, timed specifically to reach the campus before the 9:00 AM lab sessions.
Student Clubs & Societies	The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) local student chapter runs active technical forums where members organize community health camps and blood donor drives in surrounding villages.
Sports / Playground	An open-air sports field accommodates volleyball and throwball matches, which form the core of the inter-class athletic meets held during the winter semester.

The short version: Prospective students looking for a sprawling multi-disciplinary campus with engineering or arts cohorts will find this highly specialized environment too narrow. Ensure you are comfortable with the conservative dress code and mandatory lab attendance policies enforced on the Atmakur campus before submitting your preference codes.
