About National Heart Institute 🎓
National Heart Institute (NHI) was established in 1981 as the clinical research and medical care delivery wing of the All India Heart Foundation. It was inaugurated by the late Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, as the nation's first dedicated heart hospital. Beyond its clinical excellence, NHI has evolved into a significant educational hub, providing advanced training for doctors and nurses in specialized cardiac fields.
