About MSR National Degree College

Vizag has no shortage of massive engineering campuses, but MSR National Degree College takes a quieter, more practical approach to undergraduate education right within the city limits. Unlike the sprawling complexes tucked away in Madhurawada, this place focuses on accessible, job-ready degree courses without the high-pressure atmosphere of technical universities. It appeals to local students who want a solid Andhra University degree while staying connected to the city's active urban life.

Admission Process

Admission here relies on your intermediate Class 12 scores. Once applications close, the college releases its cutoff lists for different branches, especially competitive ones like B.Sc Computer Science. If your aggregate percentage meets or exceeds the specified cutoff for that round, you become eligible for the subsequent verification phase.

To lock in your admission, you must visit the campus with your original documents, including your intermediate marksheet and transfer certificate, for physical verification. Once the administration verifies your paperwork and you clear the first-term fees, your enrollment is finalized.

Life on Campus

Facility	Description
Cafeteria / Canteen	More of a social hub for quick bites, serving South Indian breakfast items and tea. It gets particularly busy during the afternoon break when students grab local snacks like punugulu.
Transport	The college operates dedicated bus routes connecting major hubs in Vizag, including Gajuwaka and Maddilapalem, saving students from relying entirely on crowded public RTC buses.
Computer Center / Wi-Fi Campus	Equipped with system setups configured for practicals in programming languages like Java and Python, backed by a local network that keeps labs connected during practical exams.
Auditorium / Seminar Hall	A mid-sized, air-conditioned hall used primarily for guest lectures by local Vizag software professionals and internal college cultural events.

Bottom line: If you are looking for massive green playgrounds or a bustling residential hostel scene, you will need to look elsewhere. This college is best suited for Vizag day-scholars who want a straightforward, affordable route to an Andhra University degree without the typical campus distractions.
