About Maheswari College of Education

If you are looking to secure a teaching credential in the Vizianagaram district without the hectic rush of a massive multi-versity campus, Maheswari College of Education offers a highly focused, single-department setting. The entire environment is geared toward the B.Ed curriculum, meaning you won't be sharing resources with engineering or management students. Located outside the main hubbub of Vizianagaram town, it serves local graduates who want to transition straight into schoolteaching without migrating to Visakhapatnam.

The college releases its cutoff lists for management and vacant seats directly on its physical notice boards and through local circulars, ranking candidates strictly on their qualifying degree performance.

Once your name appears on the selected list, you need to present your original degree transcripts and teaching methodology choices at the main office. Verification is completed on-site, and you secure your spot by completing the first-term tuition payment directly at the designated bank counter.

Campus & Infrastructure

Facility	Description
Library	Contains a curated collection of pedagogical textbooks, school curriculum drafts from the AP state board, and educational psychology reference manuals.
Cafeteria / Canteen	A simple courtyard-side stall that serves South Indian breakfast items and tea, primarily catering to students during afternoon teaching-methodology workshops.
Transport	Private bus services run on scheduled routes connecting Vizianagaram railway junction and the local RTC complex directly to the campus entrance.
Auditorium / Seminar Hall	A flat-floored hall equipped with audio systems, used mainly for micro-teaching practice sessions and guest lectures by regional school headmasters.
Sports / Playground	An open playground shared for physical education practicals, where B.Ed trainees learn to conduct school-level sports days and drill exercises.

Bottom line: Do not expect a high-tech corporate campus; this place is built strictly for traditional chalk-and-board teacher training. Check whether your preferred school internship location is within their approved list of local Vizianagaram schools before finalizing your application.
