About Iqbal Training College

I look for teachers from Iqbal Training College because they do not freeze when handed a classroom of forty loud school children on their first day. The college serves the local graduate who wants a straightforward, unpretentious route into Kerala's secondary school workforce, emphasizing classroom mechanics and lesson planning over theory-heavy research. Operating as a self-financing teacher education unit affiliated to the University of Kerala, it ensures its curriculum stays locked to current school board standards.

Getting In

Instead of waiting for a centralized online counseling cutoff, you apply directly to the college administrative office in Peringammala. Keep these documents ready in your file for direct submission:

Undergraduate degree certificate and marksheets verifying your specialization eligibility.
An equivalency certificate if your qualifying degree was awarded by a university outside of Kerala.
A completed application form obtained in person from the college administration.
Original transfer and conduct certificates from your previous institution.

On-Campus Amenities

Facility	Description
Gym / Fitness Center	The fitness center is configured specifically for physical education trainees and general teacher candidates to practice physical drill routines and manage school sports programs.
Computer Center / Wi-Fi Campus	A dedicated computer room offering terminal access and wireless connectivity, helping students learn to create digital presentations and compile educational statistics.
Cafeteria / Canteen	An on-campus dining room that serves affordable regional meals, local tea, and light refreshments tailored to a student-teacher budget.
Transport	College-operated buses run daily schedules from major towns in Thiruvananthapuram district to the Peringammala campus, ensuring punctual arrivals for morning assembly.

For prospective students: If you are seeking an ultra-modern IT campus with corporate recruitment drives, this traditional teacher training institution will feel disappointing. Make sure to physically visit the Peringammala office to check the current availability of seats in your specific subject specialization before withdrawing from other counseling rounds.
