Admission Process 📝
Admission to IIMA is arguably the most rigorous in India, focusing on high standardized test scores, stellar academic records, and diverse professional profiles.
- PGP (MBA): Admission is based on CAT scores. Shortlisted candidates undergo the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI). For the 2026-28 batch, the qualifying CAT cutoff remains around the 95th percentile for General candidates.
- PGPX (One-Year MBA): Selection is based on GMAT/GRE scores, leadership profiling, and interviews. It is designed for professionals with 4+ years of work experience.
- Ph.D. in Management: Selection considers CAT, GRE, GMAT, or GATE scores, followed by a research-intensive interview process.
- Selection Criteria: Uses a Composite Score (CS) that weights CAT performance, Application Rating (10th, 12th, Graduation marks), and AWT-PI performance.
