Admissions Process & Eligibility (B.Tech) 📝
- Check Eligibility: Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Appear for JEE (Main): A valid All India Rank in the JEE (Main) Paper-I entrance examination is mandatory for admission.
- Register for JAC Delhi Counselling: DTU does not use JoSAA. It has a separate, joint counseling process for Delhi's government engineering colleges called Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi. Candidates must register on the JAC Delhi portal.
- Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: During counseling, candidates fill their choices of colleges (DTU, NSUT, IIIT-D, etc.) and branches. Seats are allotted based on the JEE (Main) rank and category. Cutoffs for DTU are very high, requiring a top rank.
- Final Admission: After seat allotment, candidates must pay the fees and complete document verification to confirm their admission. There are separate reservation quotas for Delhi Region and Outside Delhi Region candidates.
