About D.B. College

Unlike newer private institutes popping up along the highways of Mithilanchal, our college has spent over six decades deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of Madhubani. It serves as a straightforward, no-nonsense academic anchor where traditional local roots meet mainstream university degrees. Students from rural and semi-urban Bihar come here to earn a respected degree without having to migrate to expensive cities like Patna or Delhi.

Getting In

Admission here is tied directly to the academic cutoffs published after high school results are announced. The college compiles merit lists based on your class 12 marks, specifically categorized by your chosen honours subject. You must monitor the Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) portal and the college notice boards for these cutoffs, which fluctuate yearly based on the volume of applicants.

Once your name appears on the published list, you need to bring your original mark sheets, school leaving certificates, and category verifications directly to the campus. Paying the academic fees at the designated bank counter on campus secures your enrollment within the specified dates; otherwise, the spot automatically goes to the next candidate on the waiting list.
