Admission Process š
Admission to CGEC is strictly merit-based through centralized state-level and national-level entrance examinations and counseling.
- B.Tech (1st Year): Selection is based on WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) ranks. A limited number of seats are also available for JEE Main qualifiers.
- Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can secure direct second-year admission through the JELET entrance examination.
- Counselling: All seats are filled via the WBJEEB centralized counseling process. There is no management quota.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have 45% aggregate in 10+2 (PCM) for General and 40% for reserved categories.
