About College of Agri Business Management

Most business graduates can analyze a balance sheet, but very few can look at a patch of parched North Gujarat soil and estimate its harvest yield before discussing supply chain logistics. That practical, dirt-under-the-fingernails realism is what characterizes the recruits we hire from this campus in Banas Kantha. As a constituent unit of the state's agricultural university system, it bridges the gap between traditional farming wisdom and corporate agri-commodity trading.

Getting In

Admission runs entirely through the Gujarat State Agricultural Universities Common Admission (GSAUCA) system. Candidates must apply via the centralized online portal, which evaluates applicants based on their previous academic records in science subjects and state-level entrance test scores. Once the merit ranks are published, students participate in centralized counseling rounds where seats at the Banas Kantha campus are allocated based on score cutoffs and preferences. Successful candidates must then report to the designated university center for physical verification of credentials and fee submission to lock in their enrollment.

Campus & Infrastructure

Facility	Description
Transport	Regular bus services connect the campus with Palanpur and nearby railheads, making daily travel predictable for off-campus residents.
Sports / Playground	Large open playing fields accommodate cricket, volleyball, and football matches, serving as the main gathering points during late afternoons.
Student Clubs & Societies	The Agri-Entrepreneurship Club organizes local field surveys and mock commodity trading sessions, helping students apply classroom theory to real markets.
Gym / Fitness Center	A basic strength training facility equipped with free weights and essential workout machines is available for student fitness routines.
Library	The physical collection specializes heavily in agricultural economics, cooperative management, and regional crop production data from western India.

Who this suits: This suits students eager to work directly in rural field operations, warehouse logistics, or fertilizer sales rather than sitting behind a metropolitan desk. If you prefer high-tech urban campuses or dislike long field assignments in hot weather, this specialized setting will not be a good fit.
