Bijoy Krishna Girls' College (BKGC), formerly known as Howrah Girls' College, was established on August 1, 1947, by the visionary educationist Bijoy Krishna Bhattacharya. Admission Process 📝
Admissions are conducted through a centralized online merit-based system as per the guidelines of the University of Calcutta and the West Bengal Higher Education Department.
- UG Entry: Based on the Merit Index from 10+2 marks. Minimum 50% aggregate and 45% in the subject (or 55% in the subject alone) is typically required for Honours.
- PG Programs: Offers regular M.A. in Bengali, Philosophy, Sanskrit, and M.Sc. in Geography, and M.Com.
