About A. D. Patel Institute of Technology

Will my child actually get to build things here, or is it just four years of copying theory notes from a whiteboard? If you are looking at A. D. Patel Institute of Technology (ADIT), you will find the answer in their practical workshop bays. Located in the academic enclave of New Vallabh Vidyanagar, the college is highly regarded for its specialized engineering branches, particularly its dairy-allied Food Processing Technology division. Operated by the experienced Charutar Vidyamandal trust, it provides a quiet, focused environment that favors academic discipline over distracting trends.

Getting In

Admission is governed through the centralized Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) in Gujarat. Your child’s placement on the merit list is determined by combining their 10+2 theory marks in science subjects with their score in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). The college does not run its own separate entrance exam; instead, it releases cutoffs after each ACPC round, and students are allotted seats strictly in order of this official ranking.

Once the allotment list is published and your child receives a spot at ADIT, you must pay the initial tuition fee online via the ACPC portal to secure the allocation. Afterward, parents need to bring the printed allotment letter, original academic certificates, and proof of payment to the campus administration building in New Vallabh Vidyanagar to complete final registration before the start of term.

Facilities Overview

Facility	Description
Medical / Health Center	A campus clinic staffed by a resident nurse handles minor medical concerns, while major issues are directed to nearby trust hospitals in Anand.
Sports / Playground	The campus features a spacious playground layout equipped for cricket, football, and volleyball, along with dedicated rooms for indoor games.
Hostels	Separate residential units for boys and girls are supervised by CVM-appointed wardens, enforcing strict evening entry times and academic study hours.
Computer Center / Wi-Fi Campus	Equipped with gigabit fiber-optic lines, the central computer laboratories provide specific engineering simulation software alongside general high-speed internet access.
Cafeteria / Canteen	The main dining area serves freshly prepared vegetarian meals, evening snacks, and dairy products from local cooperatives, with strict protocols on cleanliness.
Transport	A dedicated network of college-operated buses runs daily, connecting the campus directly with main pick-up points across Anand and Nadiad.

Net-net: This campus is perfect for students who want a structured, distraction-free environment in a traditional industrial region, but it will feel too conservative for families seeking a metropolitan cultural scene or liberal arts electives. Before applying, parents should carefully review the last three years of ACPC cutoff trends for their desired branch, as competitive fields like Computer Engineering require high merit ranks.
