About ITM University, Raipur

Operating under the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act with UGC recognition, ITM University Raipur serves as a modern outpost for an educational group that built its reputation in Navi Mumbai. Before this red-brick campus took shape in the quiet, developing grid of New Raipur, the parent trust had already spent over two decades anchoring professional programs in western India. This Raipur campus opened its gates when the state was actively courting private players to absorb the growing number of school leavers from places like Bhilai, Bilaspur, and Bastar who wanted an alternative to migrating to Pune or Bengaluru.

Getting In

Admission here bypasses the high-tension counseling rounds of state-run portals, relying instead on direct merit evaluation. The university reviews your senior secondary scores or graduation marks directly against their seat capacity, making it a straightforward route for students who want to avoid the Chhattisgarh Vyapam entrance exam cycles. You submit your academic transcripts directly to the Uparwara campus office or through their online portal for a quick eligibility assessment.

Direct seat allocation relies on your aggregate 10+2 scores for undergraduate degrees, prioritizing early applicants once eligibility criteria are met.
National test scores (like CAT or MAT) are evaluated for management applicants, though the university also conducts its own micro-presentation and personal interview rounds on campus.

On-Campus Amenities

Facility	Description
Medical / Health Center	A dedicated first-aid room is maintained on campus, backed by a tie-up with local medical specialists in New Raipur for immediate referrals and emergencies.
Gym / Fitness Center	The indoor physical training area is stocked with standard resistance machines and free weights, serving students who stay in the campus hostels.
Sports / Playground	A large open playing field accommodates cricket and football matches, which get particularly competitive during the annual 'Mavericks' sports meet.
Auditorium / Seminar Hall	The main air-conditioned seminar hall features integrated acoustic panels and projection systems used primarily for guest lectures by industrial experts from the Urla and Siltara industrial belts.
Transport	A fleet of buses runs daily on designated routes connecting the Naya Raipur campus to old Raipur points like Ghadi Chowk, Telibandha, and Tatibandh.

In practice: This campus is less suited for those who crave the bustling, crowded street life of old Raipur, as the surrounding Naya Raipur area remains highly planned and relatively quiet after dark. Prospective students should visit the campus in person during the dry summer months to gauge if they are comfortable with the commute and the isolated nature of the institutional zone.
