Rajasthan Board (RBSE) Class 5th and 8th Results 2026 Declared: Over 26 Lakh Students Get Results

The long wait for lakhs of young students in Rajasthan is finally over. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Bikaner, has officially announced the results for Class 5 (Primary Education Learning Level Evaluation) and Class 8 (Initial Education Completion Certificate) for the year 2026. Education Minister Madan Dilawar released the results during a press conference in Ajmer on March 24, 2026.

This year, the board has shown remarkable efficiency by releasing the results in March itself, much earlier than the traditional May schedule. More than 26 lakh students appeared for these exams across thousands of centers in the state. The overall performance has been exceptional, with both classes recording a pass percentage of over 97%. As per the initial trends, girls have once again outperformed boys by a marginal gap.

Grading System and Next Steps

For Class 8, the Rajasthan Board follows a grading system where students are awarded grades from 'A' to 'E'. A grade of 'D' or above (at least 33% marks) is required to qualify. Students who have unfortunately been placed in the "Supplementary" category will have another opportunity to clear their exams in July 2026. Successful candidates will now be promoted—Class 5 students to Class 6, and Class 8 students to Class 9.

Conclusion

Congratulations to all the students who successfully cleared their Rajasthan Board exams! The digital marksheet available online is provisional; students are advised to collect their original certificates and marksheets from their respective schools in the coming weeks.
