ICAI Declares CA Intermediate September 2026 Results with Improved Pass Rates

ICAI has finally announced the result of CA Intermediate exam held in September 2026. Students who appeared for the exams can check their individual results on the official website.

The numbers show a clear improvement this time. In Group I, 1,00,301 candidates appeared and 23,210 of them passed. That works out to a pass percentage of 23.14 per cent. Group II saw 68,400 candidates take the exam, with 12,938 clearing it at 18.92 per cent. Among those who wrote both groups together, 5,066 out of 38,339 candidates made it through, recording a pass rate of 13.21 per cent.

These figures are higher than what we saw in the May 2026 attempt, particularly in Group I. The September exams had taken place between 1 and 12 September.

To check the result, candidates need to visit caresults.icai.org and enter their registration number along with the roll number. The scorecard can be downloaded from the same page. Many students are already logging in, so the site may run a bit slow during peak hours. It is better to try a little later if it does not load at first.

Those who have cleared both groups can now begin their practical training and start planning for the Final course. Students who passed only one group can focus on the remaining papers in the next attempt. Anyone not satisfied with the marks still has the option to apply for verification once ICAI opens the window.

The merit list with the All India Rank holders is expected soon on the ICAI website. Students are advised to stick to the official portal and ignore random links doing the rounds on social media.
