MP CPCT 2026: Registration for March Cycle Ends and Exam Schedule Announced

The Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) has closed the online application window for the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT) March 2026 session. As of February 27, 2026, the registration period has ended, and the commission is preparing to conduct the examinations next month.

The CPCT is a mandatory certification for candidates aspiring for various government positions in Madhya Pradesh, including Data Entry Operators, IT Operators, and Assistant Grade-3 roles. The scorecard is valid for a period of seven years from the date of the exam.

Eligibility and Examination Structure

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma after Class 10 from a recognized board.

Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 18 years as of the date of registration.

Exam Pattern: The test consists of two mandatory sections:

  • Section A (MCQs): 75 questions covering Computer Proficiency, IT Skills, Reading Comprehension, and General Awareness (75 minutes).
  • Section B (Typing): English Typing (15 minutes) and Hindi Typing (15 minutes) using Unicode fonts like Remington Gail or Inscript.

Application Fee

For this session, all candidates were required to pay an application fee of Rs. 660. This fee is non-refundable and covers the processing of the exam and the generation of the digital scorecard.
