The Indian Navy has released the notification for Agniveer SSR and MR recruitment through INET 2026. This recruitment drive is part of the Agnipath scheme and is conducted to select candidates for the upcoming 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches.
Young candidates who want to join the Navy as sailors can apply for these posts. The online application process started on 14 March 2026 and will remain open until 06 April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for SSR and MR Posts
Candidates applying for the Indian Navy Agniveer posts must meet the eligibility conditions related to education, age, and nationality.
- SSR Qualification: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and one optional subject like Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science.
- MR Qualification: Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: Candidates generally must be between 17½ and 21 years depending on the batch.
- Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Candidates must also meet the physical fitness standards required by the Navy to participate in the next stages of recruitment.

Only candidates who successfully complete the payment process will receive their exam admit cards for the INET examination.
