The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has released the provisional list of examination centres for the 2027 High School and Intermediate board exams. Altogether 7526 centres have been shortlisted across the state through an online process.
Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh said the list, along with the student allocation details, is now live on the official website upmsp.edu.in. This is an increase from the 7448 centres used last year for the 2026 exams.
Of the total, 862 are government schools, 3276 are aided secondary schools and 3388 are unaided private schools. The board prepared the list after tehsil-level committees checked the infrastructure of the schools concerned.
Students, parents, principals and school managements can file objections against any proposed centre online on the board portal. The deadline is 28 October 2026. Complaints must include clear reasons and supporting documents. No objection will be taken after this date.
District Inspectors of Schools will look into the objections and forward the approved district lists to the board by 6 November. A revised list should come up on the website by 16 November, followed by a brief further feedback window. The final centre list is set to be published on 27 November.
More than 52 lakh students have registered for the 2027 board exams. Over 27 lakh are for High School and nearly 24 lakh for Intermediate. Releasing the centre list this early helps schools and families start planning travel and stay arrangements in good time.
Schools and students should check the provisional list on upmsp.edu.in without delay and raise objections if required within the given period. The board wants the entire process to move smoothly so that the exams themselves face no last-minute hurdles.
