Understanding Semester Cycle

This means if your back is from an odd semester subject, you will clear it in the next odd semester examination. If your back is from an even semester, you will clear it in the next even semester examination.

Example 1 Back in First Semester

Suppose you failed Mathematics in first semester. First semester is an odd semester. You will continue attending second semester classes. When the next odd semester exams are conducted, you must fill the back paper form and appear for Mathematics again.

Example 2 Back in Second Semester

If you failed Physics in second semester, it is an even semester subject. You will reappear in that subject during the next even semester examination cycle.
