5,905 UP Board Schools Get Extra Time to Submit Student Lists for 2027 Exams

A large number of schools in Uttar Pradesh just got a small but useful break. The Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has extended the deadline for 5,905 schools to generate and submit their student lists. The new last date is October 22.

These lists are needed for advance registration of Class 9 and Class 11 students and for the examination applications of Class 10 and Class 12 students for the 2026-27 session. The earlier deadline was October 15. After checking the status, the board found that these schools had not completed the work and issued a fresh notification on October 16 allowing them more time.

School principals now need to generate the photo-bearing lists from the board portal, download them and take the documents along with a copy of the treasury challan to the District School Inspector’s office. Once submitted there, the papers will be sent to the regional offices.

For students and parents, this extension is helpful because incomplete lists can create problems later with registration or exam forms. Teachers and principals get a few extra days to sort out any missing photographs, fee details or other small issues that held them up earlier. Many schools had faced portal or documentation problems, and the board had already opened options to fix those. The extra week should be enough for most of them to finish the pending work.

Parents can simply check with the school to confirm that their child’s name and details have been included and submitted. Accurate lists help avoid last-minute headaches when the board exams approach next year. School heads remain responsible for getting this done on time so that no student is left out.

The board has made it clear that the extension applies only to these 5,905 schools. Everyone else is expected to stick to the earlier schedule. Now that a new date is in place, principals should wrap up the process quickly so that the overall preparations for the 2027 UP Board examinations remain on track.
