CBSE Addressing OSM-Related Concerns

The board recently faced complaints related to scanned answer sheets, portal access issues, and concerns linked to the newly introduced On-Screen Marking system.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stated that discrepancies and student concerns related to the evaluation process will be addressed through review and corrective measures.

Several students had reported issues including blurred copies, answer-sheet mismatches, and technical problems while accessing post-result services.

Large Number of Students Requested Answer Books

According to CBSE updates, more than 4 lakh applications were received for obtaining scanned answer books, with over 11 lakh answer sheets requested by students.

The board stated that most answer books have already been provided digitally through the official system.

Honestly, the re-evaluation window is especially important this year because many students have been closely reviewing their answer sheets after concerns related to evaluation accuracy and technical issues.

Students Advised to Follow Official Instructions Carefully

Experts advise students to apply for re-evaluation only after carefully checking their scanned answer sheets and identifying genuine concerns.

Candidates should also save payment receipts and confirmation pages for future reference.

For now, CBSE Class 12 students can apply online for verification and re-evaluation through the official board portal starting May 29, 2026.
