If you've been refreshing the CET Cell website all week, you can finally take a breath. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell released the final MHT CET 2026 PCB admit cards on April 17, 2026. With the first shift kicking off on April 21, you have just a few days to get your paperwork in order and scout your exam center.

Remember, your city intimation slip from last week was just a "heads up"—it is NOT your entry pass. You must download this final hall ticket, which contains your specific venue address and shift timing.

How to Download Your PCB Admit Card

Don't wait until the morning of the exam. The portal can get notoriously slow as thousands of students jump on at once. Follow these steps to secure your copy:

  • Head over to the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.
  • Look for the 'MHT CET 2026 PCB Admit Card' link on the homepage.
  • Log in using your registered email ID and password.
  • Once the dashboard opens, click on 'Get Hall Ticket' to view it.
  • Download the PDF and take at least two clear printouts on A4 paper.

Shift Timings: Don’t Be Late

The exam is conducted in two shifts daily. The CET Cell is very strict about entry—once the gates close, no one gets in, regardless of the reason.

Activity Morning Shift (Shift 1) Afternoon Shift (Shift 2)
Entry Starts 7:30 AM 12:30 PM
Last Entry 8:45 AM 1:45 PM
Exam Time 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

What to Carry (And What to Leave at Home)

Think of your admit card as your ticket, but you still need your ID to "check in." You must bring a printed admit card and a valid original photo ID like an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or Voter ID. Digital copies on your phone will not be accepted.

Strict Warning on AI & Gadgets: The board has issued a zero-tolerance policy for 2026. Any student caught with smart devices, hidden gadgets, or attempting to use AI-based tools will be immediately disqualified and may face a multi-year ban. Even analogue watches are banned this year, so leave them at home—the exam software will have a timer on your screen.

Exam Pattern Recap

The PCB exam consists of 150 questions for a total of 200 marks. Section 1 covers Physics and Chemistry (1 mark per question), while Section 2 is dedicated to Biology (2 marks per question). The best part? There is no negative marking, so make sure you attempt every single question before the 3-hour timer runs out.

Conclusion

Check your hall ticket for any errors in your name or photograph the moment you download it. If something looks wrong, contact the MHT CET helpdesk immediately at helpdesk@mahacet.in. Otherwise, focus your remaining 72 hours on revision, keep a transparent water bottle ready, and aim for that non-zero score to secure your spot in Maharashtra’s top Pharmacy and Agriculture colleges.
